Ammo issues with my 308 AR
I put a box through my M1A and didnt notice any problems, but these were the first ones through this particular gun. Even if it was loaded hot, how could it blow the primer completely out of the case if the bolt was seated all the way? Thats what makes me think its a headspace issue. The primers...- b rad

Ammo issues with my 308 AR
So I took my 308 AR out Sunday and fired 9 rounds. On the 10th, the round chambered but the bolt wouldnt go forward all the way. I looked into the chamber and found several small metal shards just inside the lugs, so I dug them out and realized it was a primer that had exploded. After looking...- b rad

My 308 has about ran it's course
Im thinking about doing the exact same thing, except go from an HS stock to a KRG chassis. I dont reload and the factory 6.5 creedmore seems to be a little easier to find right now, plus i have other 308's so it'd be something different to play with. Good to know im not the only one considering...- b rad

Rifle Scopes The truth about Leupold thread
I currently own 4 various Mk 4's and a VX-R 3-9 and have never had any issues. The VX-R has been my hunting/beater scope for 3yrs and it hasnt let me down yet. Everyone I know that owns a rifle has at least one Leupold scope and ive never heard them complain. Are there better optics available...- b rad

Hunting & Fishing Head Shot Wednesdays
After the events of this evening I believe im going to have to start using headshots to bring down the deer where I hunt. Re: Worth investing the money into my M1A NM? I have an ARMS mount on my M1A in a JAE stock and could not be happier with it. The mount holds zero, the gun shoots better than i can, and(most importantly) looks bad ass. But, if I had it to do over again I would most likely go with an AR...- b rad
