F T/R Competition Any shooters in the texas hill country area...
I was just wondering if there were any matches, high power or small bore, in the hill country area? I recently retired and now live in the Kendall County area full time. I've been shooting since I was 5 (1960) and have been handloading since I got out of the Army in 76.- Daryl licht

F T/R Competition How many are using prepped lc brass for 308 ftr?
I only use LC Match brass. I buy the ammo with the 175 gn sierra and fire form it to get the exact chamber size. Primer pockets are swaged, then the cases are neck sized and trimmed so that plus/minus .001 length is maintained. Other than the accuracy of the powder charge in my opinion there...- Daryl licht

I'm shooting a 20" HOWA heavy barrel with a rifle basix trigger mounted in a modified BC medalist stock topped with a Vortex Viper. I use 175 Berger OTM's seated to factory specs in fire formed Lapua brass then neck sized only maintaining a .003 neck tension after filling the case with 44.9 gns...- Daryl licht

Rifle Scopes BC Scope caps. Anyone given up?
I've been shooting a S&B 5 x 25 and caps are impossible to find that function correctly or last and if you use a sunshade they're impossible to reach but I've solved that problem at least for me. I use truck tire tubes. Cut a 4" strip from the right diameter tube and your problems are cured...- Daryl licht
