    Even after all of the negative comments I read about the advanced tactical I picked one up in late April for a deal and love it. I did rebed it cause I didn't like the factory job but other than that its flawless. Everybody gives these rifles a bad rap but I dont think many have actually tried one.

    I agree with Rookie, all my primers look like yours. I was a little leery of pressure too but I had no other symptoms. Too bad you're so far I have 4 pounds of 4350 I have no use for.

    That all depends on how much you want to spend on ammo and how much recoil you want. For the purpose you listed I would stick with the short action. How about some pictures of the current configuration?

    Probably just from the typical roughness of factory Remington barrels. A tubbs final finish would definitely let you get some extra fps out of it.
