    That’s some great advice. I’m not necessarily too worried about glass as long as it’s decent. I really, more than anything, want a good reticle that I like, and I would really prefer something with zero stop for target shooting

    Those are all great points as well. I hunt mostly in West Texas, one property where most shots are 100-300 yards, another where shots average at least 250. I would love a razor, but, my wallet doesn’t agree either.

    I’ve read a lot of good about both of those particular projectiles, hopefully when I start reloading I’ll learn enough to get the most out of them. That’s also another reason I want the .308, it is a good tool to help learn to play at long range.
