    Range Report 6mm 110 gr. Sierra MK

    Planning on running them in 6 creedmoor. Rifle isn't ready yet though. The charge weights seem to be pretty close to the 105 loads from what little I have seen so far. Not a lot of bearing surface on that bullet.

    Any regrets going custom?

    I went full customs just getting into long range and have no regrets. I got an accurate gun that is exactly what I wanted and don't have to change anything. Working with Mark Gordon was a great experience, and If I had to do it all over again I would.

    I would say it depends on what you are wanting to do with it. If the PRS is really what you want then I would hold out. I have a PRS on my 308 AR and love it. All my .223 ARs have some sort of stock with an angled cheek piece. The ACS/ACS-L and STR are all much better than a "regular" stock...

    I got mine yesterday and it came with the turret covers. I'll have to play with it more but the brightest setting on the illumination is very bright. Looking at a window it was clearly lit.

    I got a Hornady neck die since that was the same brand of dies I got for my 260. It has served me well so far. I have only loaded about 200 rounds with it so far though.

    It would come down to the bullet you want to shoot. As others have said you won't get away with shooting the 140 class bullets.

    Pistol grips, how do they affect lethality?

    This premise makes no sense to me. I like the ergonomics of a pistol grip, but it in no way makes a gun more lethal. You hear the whole argument of being to hip fire much easier. Anyone who says that has never held a pistol gripped rifle at their hip.
