Re: Suppressor Wait Time Since we are on this subject. Is this something you must go thru every time you purchase a can, like the firearm bg check? Or is this paper good for all silencer purchases? Also what is the process like for obtaining a full auto gun, Same process?

    Marlin XS7Y

Re: Marlin XS7Y IS that savage barrel thicker? That's the only thing that i don't like about this one. It gets hot fast where its so thin. I will check into doing that swap. Thanks for the advice!

    Marlin XS7Y

I just picked up a new Marlin Model XS7Y in .308 for $288 bux. It's probably not up to some of your standards, but so far it performs well. I put a crappy Center point mil dot scope on it when I bought the gun. It didn't last long at the range lol. So I got a BSA 3-9x40. Anyone else had a chance...

    Target Question?

Re: Target Question? Thanks for the links. So lets see if I understand. If you sight it in an inch high you would still hit at a closer range, yet if your prey happens to be farther out the same zero will hit the vital without a scope adjustment. cool!

    Fieldcraft Ghillie question

Re: Ghillie question Actually after field testing we found the green needs to be just a tad darker. But yes, In my part of Tennessee its all pine trees and laurels. I have added more brown to facilitate hiding in the fall environment. When I made it it was summer time and everything was green...

    Fieldcraft Ghillie question

Re: Ghillie question so basically just strip the burlap into string and tie it on in bunches? As you can probably tell i just tied the strips on then frayed it.

    Fieldcraft Ghillie question

I've noticed some very nice ghillie suits on here, maybe some of you guys could give me some pointers. I have made a few using burlap and they work pretty good. I really like the "grassy" look some of you guys have achieved. When I made my first one I started with a roll of Natural Jute twine...
