    Here's my 300 Whisper. I got this buck with it. I have used both Lehigh Defense and Outlaw State bullets. Both work great. I shot a small buck this year with 200 grain Lehigh ME and it looked like it was hit with a Weatherby magnum.

    These bullets are accurate. I haven't shot them for groups. But I have shot a couple just to make sure they were close to my zero for other loads. Both shots were touching each other at 100 yards. I killed a small buck with one. Looked like it was shot with 300 mag instead of 300 Whisper.

    I agree with your theory on bullet shape. I just haven't found anything economical to use.

    Also a faster twist with heavier bullets would help accuracy. AAC has now gone with 1-7 twist with 300 Blackout. I have been playing with oal on these to tighten the groups up. It hasn't made much difference.

    This was shot out of my AR15 using N110. I would think with a bolt gun you could use faster powders. I have shot several groups like this using both 220 smk and 208 amaxes.

    Re: Semi auto+300 black out subs +30p-1? I'm running a 30P-1 on my 300 and on a Grendel and it works great. I don't do any mag dumping but I have popped off 4 in a row at a deer! Zak and his guys are 1st class to deal with to.
