Hello,

I am very new to all of this. I have a Bushmaster A3 I think. Its the one with the handle on top. Had it for about a year put 130 rounds in it so far. I ordered a 5.56 Suppressor from a different company. But after looking at 300 black out and doing some research for the last 2 weeks This is the build I want to go.

*I work on a offshore oil rig I try to make phone calls to all of these places but its hard since I work nights.
*I bought a 10.5inch noveske and a 12.5 noveske barrel that is being shipped to my dealer. My understanding is I can either keep it with him or remove my Ar 15 from my house and then take the barrels home my self. Not a problem I work 28 days out 14 days off. Most of the time I am 28/7 not 28/14 =(
* I was going to go YHM TI QD but everyone is sold out. so I am looking at a 30p-1. I have read most of the topics going back 36 pages and I found out it is rated for limited Semi auto but how limited I am not sure. I think it was 30 rounds of subs then let it cool for 15-20 min?
*I will be shooting 300 black out subs only with this suppressor and the 12.5inch short barrel.
*Can you get pictures engraved on suppressors?
*What is 5/8x24 and M18x1? Witch one do I pick in the drop down options?

I have about 7 days to see what I want to do because Its been hinted that when i go home tomorrow I am only getting 7 days off.

Is the AR you currently own the one you are going to register as an SBR? If so yeah doesnt need to be in the same location to be safe. Other wise I wouldn't worry about having it with it. You don't want to have the lower you are registering as an SBR with the barrels.

I have an AAC sdn-6 for my 8" 300 BLk SBR it was pretty much built for it and I highly recommend it. You can get them pretty cheap now too.

I dont see why you couldn't get pics engraved on the can as long as it didnt cover any product info ..serial # or whatever.

Go with 5/8*24 the other is metric and your barrel will be threaded 5/8*24 from Noveske!

I'm sure you saw this in the other threads, but just keep the temperature under 800 F. With .300 Blk/Whisper/Fireball and subsonic loads, that's really easy because there is so little powder.

The 30BA might be a choice you'd be interested in, especially if you might want to put it on other rifles that have different threads.

I'm running a 30P-1 on my 300 and on a Grendel and it works great. I don't do any mag dumping but I have popped off 4 in a row at a deer! Zak and his guys are 1st class to deal with to.

I do not understand this. It has almost double the gun powder yet way less power. This has thrown me off for some time now. I will not be using the bush master lower I am building a whole gun from scratch. Then I will sell my Bush master for 500 bux or something. I bought it new from the store so I don't know.

I am looking at lowers right now.

You need to do some reading sir, perhaps in the reloading and terminal ballistics department. If I understand your question correctly

one has a heavy bullet going slower and therefore quieter, the other has a lighter bullet going much faster, which translates into more noise and energy. Is that what you were asking?

Re: Semi auto+300 black out subs +30p-1?

I think he is comparing the bullet weights, 220gr vs 155 gr. at least that is what I am understanding. Black lotus the sub sonic is a 220 gr bullet going less than the speed of sound and the 155 is a super sonic going faster than the speed of sound. It is not referencing a powder charge

Dude, the word is powDer not power. I am usually not a grammar nazi but when it is confusing to read your post because you are using the misspelled word once correctly and once not...ahem. Ok.

The grain is the bullet weight. Most factory ammo makers don't list their powder load, only bullet weight and velocity. Subsonics for super quiet, full velocity for shooting live stuff, longer distances. Good video here to demonstrate some of the differences. Good luck.
