Why shouldn't i get a mesa pistol grip for 870 hunting gun?

It's a dumb move on a Mossberg because of the tang safety. For an 870? Nah go for it.

    Lpvo Help? Input needed please.

With out any more information besides ".223 and .308" and having a "tree reticle" at a budget price, this is a pretty safe bet. As it stands I don't know if these are both bolt guns or a Remington Varmint .223 @26" and a Scar 17 at 14.5" ETA PA GLx 2.5-10x44 also seems like a good general fit.

Longer rail isn't happening unless I replace the monolithic upper... the thought has crossed my mind.

    The AR15 Picture Thread

BCM 14.5" SOCOM, Aimpoint Pro in a QRP2 with SKD 1.93" riser. Colt 6940 cut and pinned to 14.5" by Adco, NF NXS 2.5-10x42mm and a 1.54" 0moa Badger Ordinance mount. Waiting for funds to recharge before I add an offset T2 to the 6940 and probably a Magpul bipod. Any one have better bipod...

    Are my HK USPs Obsolete

This thread is way to long. Let me try. If you *need* a red dot to hit your target (for any reason: nods, old eyes, can't figure out a fronsight), then out of the box they are obsolete. If you can use irons to hit targets, then no they can still do that. Optimality is a personal question. GL;HF

    Vortex XM-157

GPS and ATAK Integration is probably already in development. Imagine having one (or more) loiter drones pinpointing heat signatures into your scope as they do a 1k orbit of your position. I wonder how hardened the electronics are friendm a sunspot/emp perspective.

Budget LPVO or solid red dot?

It's the Russian and Chinese way. Americans should work hard and buy smart. Sorry for the rant OP.

Budget LPVO or solid red dot?

Buy a decent mpvo for the 18" An example on a budget. Then put a red dot on it later.

Trijicon accupoint vs credo vs vcog

He could shoot heavy metal division in 3 gun if he went pump gun and .45 pistol, but that means shooting irons on the .308 last time I checked. Your local range may have it's own way of doing that. Otherwise, might as well go with a Tenmile 3-18x44 and a rmr offset. Puts you in open class in 3...

Looking for SFP MIL Reticle scope

I would look hard at more than just zoom. Compare exit pupil too. You want big exit pupils for aging eyes.

Looking for SFP MIL Reticle scope

Would rather buy a Trijicon over an Athlon Trijicon Credo 4-16x50 SFP

    MPVO for a Gas gun

Three main points of why I'm moving away from LPVO. I hate small eyebox optics and will pay the weight penalty to get better 10x or more I'm refocusing my training on middle distance shooting and less 3 gun hosing I also wanted to start angling towards some NOD capability for passive aiming in...

    MPVO for a Gas gun

Yes, I recognized that I was going to be using 2.5x, 5x, and 10x and working harder on the math for hits. But maybe the amount of agonizing I'm showing here will reach NF marketing and hopefully they'll fix the mistake of the NX8 2.5x line in due time. But I'm not going to wait around another...

    MPVO for a Gas gun

Paraphrasing from locals... said he doesn't consider the NXS in his MPVO bucket because it's SFP. He also said the parallax isn't a deal breaker on the Credo because of my use case. I'm just trying to justify the wife's wrath in my mind to get the Credo before bonus time rather than the NF...

    MPVO for a Gas gun

I'm going to replace an LPVO (TR24) with a MVPO and offset RDS. I was pretty dead set on a NF NXS 2.5-10x42mm. Regular price is $1600 on EuroOptic. But there is a great sale on the Credo 2-10x36mm for $775 The NF has a better eyebox spec, parallax adjust, but is SFP. The Credo has FFP and a...
