    Oryx and grendel

    All in about $1200. Not quite the budget rifle I was thinking of, but it checks the 6.5g mini action and chassis box. I have an SSG08 and it's awesome compared to the howa mini action. Is this relevant? No. It's absurd to compare the two. The Howa mini is excellent for what you pay for though.

    Neat. I also have a SSG08 6.5cm, but I bastardized mine by dropping the 6.5cm THB into an SSG08 chassis. Same action, same barrel, same chassis.

    Steyr THB 6.5 Creedmoor

    Haven't shot it yet, but it's pretty nice. Short, light, no creep trigger and an extremely smooth bolt. It drops in the SSG08 chassis without issues. Just need a keymo brake before I take it out.
