    Re: 1909 Argentine Mauser wont go into battery Will the bolt fully close with no brass or anything in the chamber? Who installed the barrel? If the bolt wont close period I would try and find a set of go or no go gauges and check the headspace.

    Re: help me choose a medium-long range rifle On a 1700 dollar budget you should be able to get a brand new sendero and still have a little left for some used optics. Sendero is a good gun to start a build around and you can get it in 300 mag.
