Rifle Scopes Nf beast vs. wait for new razor

Don't own either but have played with both, the glass is impressive in both and either reticle is fine. I love my F1, just wish it was 20x. The beast turrets I'm still not sure about unless I used one for awhile, the turrets on the vortex felt good and were low profile. The vortex is 1k cheaper...

    FNH Patrol Bolt Rifle

I started with an FN PBR, purchased in 2010, it has the claw extractor as you described, I figured they were still that way but I'm not sure. That does look like a control round push feed, I don't see any exposed extractor looking at the bolt body. Sorry, you bought sight unseen, we've all...

    Eyes question.

I think you have to get time behind the gun and decide. Eye fatigue and concentration are a factor. I find myself using both eyes 80-90 percent of the time. But if I am really concentrating and need to make a tight shot no matter if it's a .5 dot at 100 or a 15" plate at a 1000 I will sometimes...

Ammo issue in AIAX. Is the gun okay? Why did this happen?

Yep. Blew holes like that. I'm pretty sure from loose pockets. Mine we br cci.

Ammo issue in AIAX. Is the gun okay? Why did this happen?

I've had that happen. For me it was loose tension when seating the primer. I had several of my 260 loads this summer I was loading for a match. I figured they would be good enough since I would prob lose the brass anyway. Blew just like that. Now if they go in loose I toss the case. FYI, if...

    Fluting? Yes or No ?

They look good. But cost an extra 100 bucks. Like H-extreme said. It's tough when you throw it in the trash once a year or more depending on how much you shoot. Weight savings is minimal.

    7/08 build finished. ..

Isaac reuses his A4's a lot, that's probably the 10th action in that stock. We kid him a lot (or at least I do!) about his old A4's, problem is he out shoots us all with them most of the time so what can we say!! Nice group Isaac, Go team SIP!!

I'd like to add a couple of medium priced scopes to some rifles. Has anybody had any experience with these?

Rebarreling a R700 .243 with a Bartlein Barrel, Which Length to choose?

You can use a slower burning powder in the longer barrels and typically keep the velocity up and not have the pressure problems you have by trying to run the same speed with a shorter barrel and a faster burn rate. Don't know if it's a fact but I think the barrels/throats last longer with the...

Heard a rumor the other day at a gun shop they were bringing in truckloads of rimfire every day into crane naval and destroying it. No idea if its true or not.
