Sidearms & Scatterguns new 9 mm ammo

I think the full auto is to show how reliably it feeds, because let's face it, with all those jagged edges, it's bound to feed unreliably at first glance. Who knows. I'll never buy it.

Sidearms & Scatterguns new 9 mm ammo

Been on the market for the better half of a year or so now. Just a gimmink ammo as far as i'm concerned. I'd never carry it, use it, or waste my money on it, let alone have to explain to the judge why I chose that of all ammo options to use in my gun for self defense.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Looking to buy my first competition/race gun

Excellent points, to everyone thus far. i am really getting a lot of good info here. It seems like 9mm is probably the way to go, and I figure if I practice enough (something that will happen more with the cost of 9mm ammo vs the others) then maybe being in the Minor scoring system won't be as...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Looking to buy my first competition/race gun

Oh, I should also add, I am by no means making this thread to find the justification to make a potentially bad purchase decision. I am asking because I understand many of you have much more experience in this area, and I genuinely want your input and feedback.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Looking to buy my first competition/race gun

I have owned Glocks in the past, but their grip angle does not agree with my natural POA. The 1911 style grip is for me - hence things like the FNX, CZ, XDm, etc being more to my liking.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Looking to buy my first competition/race gun

Fair enough. i can see the issues seen there. Perhaps I might, down the road, sell or trade my SR1911 for a 1911 with a rail. Having a rail on my race gun would still be a plus for me, so i'd have that option even if I end up never using it. I plan to compete in about any IDPA/IPSC/3 gun matches...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Looking to buy my first competition/race gun

Hey everyone. Let me start off by saying that I know the internet is full of related questions like "what's the best caliber for competition," and "what's the best platform to use for competition." My case is slightly unique because most of those don't seem to state any previous or current...

    .308 Seekins ATC

Is anyone running one on a bolt gun? I used to have one on my AR (in 5.56) and didn't care for it. It seemed to over-gas my gun, which is obviously not an issue with a bolt gun. How do you guys like them? I plan to get a suppressor down the road a ways, but it will be a while, and I figure at...

    New Guy from MT here

Not many people have even heard of it! In all the forums I am on, that is a first. The Shame just got bought out by someone who should be able to restore it to its rightful condition. It has switched owners a couple times over the last 8 years or so. One tried to run it as a breakfast pace...

    Rifle Scopes Government ACOG???

Email them. Trijicon is very helpful. They will tell you if it was from a DoD contract. if it was, you will need a certification from the DoD that they have released it, IF they did in fact do so. Also, the lifetime warranty is only applicable to the original purchaser, or, if you are lucky...
