    Re: DPMS LR-308 Sounds to me like marksmanship may be a bigger issue than the gun. If you cant hit a 6 inch dot on paper at 300, dont try it on deer. The trigger and the scope wont make you a better shot. Out of the box, that gun should be more than accurate enough.

    Nothing worse than being home recovering from surgery and seeing this come across the game camera on the weekend you planned on hunting. This is the bigggest one I have seen on camera. He is a good 3-4 feet tall. Hope he sticks around for a few days....

    Re: TRG muzzle brake any other besides factory? I dont know how any brake could be mre effective than the Near. I have one for each of my TRG's. On the 300 Mag, it has virtually no felt recoil. Now the people beside me get blown all to hell, but that is another issue.
