    Re: TRR-SR does the supplied base really suck? I never took mine out of the package. The first thing I did to my TRR .22 LR was to install a EGW 20 MOA rail. I didn't really think I needed a scope, a flashlight & a red dot on the rifle.

    Todays shooting

    The wind is still a little strong for any group shots, so I spent a little time just shooting my Savage MKII FV with the Boyds stock & my TRR. With CCI Mini Mag HP & a 50 yd 0, both rifles took the same come-ups at 100, 150 & 175 yds. These were 4.5 Moa @ 100, 12.5 @ 150 & 15 MOA @ 175 yds. I...

    Re: Boyds stock inaccurate at 100 Gosh SBS, that sucks! I replaced the synthetic stock that came with my Savage MKII FV with a Boyds Tactical. It is a big improvement over the factory stock. I did have to buy the good bottom metal so I could get the torque I wanted on the action screws.
