    Grendel SBR?

    Re: Grendel SBR? Grendel mags have diffrent feedlips and followers. The Feedlips are smaller and shorter. But 6.8 mags feed 6.5 grendel. I have noticed however if you fill the mag completely full, the top of the mag begins to spread apart and it wont go into the magwell without some muscle.

    Re: Switching out bolts I would be more comfortable haveing 1 carrier and two bolts, rather than using only 1 bolt for 2 rifles. The carrier just holds the bolt. So there would be no worries about headspace issues.

    Re: boots ????????????? I've always liked rocky boots. I had 2 pairs of 511 HRT's and they were sneaker comfortable, but fall apart super quickly. I'm sure my next pair will be danners as their quality is second to none.

    Re: Switching out bolts I used to work in the realm of naval engineering, and was always told metal parts that wear together, need to go together. But in your case of useing one bolt between two uppers, I think you'll be alright. Just don't use an old worn as hell bolt with a new barrel.

    Re: BO Stabilizer handguard. a "crows foot" is a type of wrench that most mechanics will have. Looks like an open end wrench, that you plug a socket wrench into. I only used a 4' pipe wrench to install my badger. (it's what I had)
