I am lucky enough to live about a mile from Mile High Shooting. I just wish I could walk out on my next visit with one of those! I'm anxious for a range report. Congrats!
I don't think those are the ones that will be going to WY to hunt. I can't speak for everyone but I chose to not spend money in Colorado and instead give it to WY. I've hunted up there for several years and really enjoy it. Anyway, enough politics, but it is sad how far this state slid so quickly.
Umm, thanks but I was able to figure that part out. I was curious as to why he feels that way.
Congrats to everyone that has filled their tags. I'm looking forward to hunting up there next week despite not being welcome ;)
P.S. I'll also be bringing a can.
Well, we all know how hard it is to choose a new knife. One turned into two and then... let's just say I probably won't need a new one for a while.
I have been carrying the yellow Case every day in my dress pants at work and really like it. I received many old Case knives when my grandpa...
I'm just getting in to the .300 WM cartridge and haven't been able to find a reloading book anywhere.
Q: will H1000 powder work with 215 or 230 grain MTH berger bullets? If so, would this be a decent 1000-1500 yd round? I have had zero luck finding 208 amax bullets.
thanks.
The question ultimately comes down to whether or not you want to maintain the velocity that is typical from a 300WM. I would personally not want to cut it down shorter than 22". At that point, you may as well have a shorter barelled gun in a different caliber.
Just picked up 10 lbs and thought I would spread the love. 243 lbs are available at the time of this post from 3rd generation shooting supply.
Now if I only had primers, projectiles, and brass... I picked a bad time to get into a new caliber.
I finally get to join the patiently waiting for a GAP club. I placed my order for a 300 WM barreled action with Ken this afternoon. This is going to be harder than waiting for a supressor!
