    Pick a suitable caliber that you can become comfortable and proficient shooting. Great big nasty magnums sound cool, but they are not worth a darn if you can't shoot them. I don't own a ultra magnum, or a super ultra magnum. I do have a a 300 Winchester Magnum, that is what i would recommend...

    For the value, I love my HS stocks. I have the model you are asking about. Got it inletted for the M5 bottom metal. Yes, no need to bed the stock the aluminum bedding block does it's job well. I like the generous palm swell on the grip.

    If you like the stock, send it off and have it cut for the M5. If you are on the fence about the stock, go with the Manners. I had my HS stock cut for the M5, wouldn't go back now.
