Rimfire *SOLD* WTS Take off stock for Savage Mark II TR

I just mounted my TR in an Oryx chassis so I no longer need the Boyds stock. I also have a DIP products bottom metal and trigger guard deluxe kit and a Bradley adjustable cheek rest. I am asking $110.00 for the stock, $25.00 for the deluxe kit, and $75.00 for the Bradley adjustable cheek rest...

    Different length buffer tubes?

Have you tried giving it a slap on the end with the palm of your hand. Mine slid on and stopped. Gave it a slap and it went on the rest of the way. Pretty sure I am using just the standard buffer tube (non-adjustable).

    .308 suggestions

If you wanted the 308 I would stick wit it. I originally wanted a 308 but decided to get a 223 because I only have access to 300 yds. I also have ab AR so I thought no need to start buying anothe caliber of ammo. Bought an FN TSR XP .223. Guess what? I still wanted a 308 and wasn'thappy so...

Rifle Scopes Question about a Nikon Monarch 4-16X42 Mildot

Called Nikon and the tech told me that according to their database that model was never produced with 1/8 MOA adjustments so evidently the turrets were off of another model. Since I am going to use this scope on a 50 yd setup the 1/8 knobs will be fine (1/4 MOA at 50 yds would equal 1/8 MOA) so...

Rifle Scopes Question about a Nikon Monarch 4-16X42 Mildot

This weekend I traded for a used Nikon Monarch 4-16X42 Mildot side focus. I traded a M223 2-8X32 that I bought a couple of years ago for my AR. The Monarch came with the wide traget turrets and they are labeled 1/8 MOA. I know that Nikon now produces a Monarch 3 4-16X50 Mildot that does have...

Rifle Scopes Nikon M-223 2-8X32 Range Report

I have two of these scopes (2-8 and 4-16) and also shoot different grain bullets. You will not be able to use the pre-determined yardage markings on your elevation knob accurately, but you can still adjust for elevation as you would on a normal scope (1 click = 1/4 MOA).

Which way to go...10/22 or CZ bolt?

Mine is built with a KIDD Classic reciever, bolt, cocking lever, single stage 1.5lb trigger. The barrel is an F.J. Fedderson .920 16.25" fluted. I have over a grand in the gun and it shoots pretty damn good. In all honesty though, I don'tthink it would outshoot a CZ. I just think a nice bolt...

Rifle Scopes Anyone using a mueller?

I have the same scope you bought. They are very good for what you are wanting. Mine is mounted on a KIDD 10/22 build and it is used for paper punching at 50 to 100 yds. That is all I would consider them good for. Bought mine from Mizzou Mule.

Rifle Scopes Questions about Vortex Viper PST 6-24X50

I already have 4-16 on my 223 rifle. Granted it is only a Nikon M223 and probably not as clear as the Vortex, it still does not give me the magnification I am looking for. I can always turn it down but I can't turn it up if it ain't there.

Rifle Scopes Questions about Vortex Viper PST 6-24X50

After reading the sticky on scope selection that is kind of the way I am leaning. Also going to go MOA. To darned old to learn mils.

Rifle Scopes Questions about Vortex Viper PST 6-24X50

Have been lurking around here learning and now it is time to asks for some advice. Just bought Remington 700 Milspec 5R yesterday and am needing a scope. I do not hunt and will only be punching paper. The club I belong to only has ranges out to 300 yards. Targets are placed at 100, 200, and...

Rifle Scopes Leupold or Nikon for 300 yards max

Recently traded for a Ruger M77 MKII VT in 223 caliber. This rifles primary use will be target shooting at 300 yards max. Right now I have a Nikon Prostaff 3X9 on it that I had been using on a 10/22 that I am fixing to do a build on. With Fiocchi 223 55gr FMJ I can get 3 shot groups about the...
