Pmc bronze is good stuff. Just watch out for bimetal jacket stuff in other cheap ammo brands. Bimetal jackets will wear a barrel quicker- ColtSAA.45

Should 30 TC make a comeback?
Yeah but shouldn't the T/C benefit from the ability to utilize longer (higher BC) bullets the same way that the 6.5 creed can utilize longer bullets? Essentially, the 30 tc and 308 both have similar case capacity in that the the 30 T/C accomplishes this by having nearly parallel case walls while...- ColtSAA.45

So I’ve been thinking of what cartridge to chamber my new rifle in. Right now there is a new .308 proof carbon barrel on it. Proof sendero vs sendero light contours
Thanks for the info. Reason I ask is that I’m wanting to pick up one of the manners LRH stocks available. They all come with proof sendero contours. I just am thinking that 6.5 PRC will catch on because they market it with the precision rifle market vice the hunting market. It seems like cartridges geared towards the hunting market have a harder time of catching on. I think a good example of that is 6.5 Creedmoor. It really doesn't do that...- ColtSAA.45

Thanks for the advice! I have been intrigued by the 6.8 western since it launched. I originally was waiting for Model 70's to become available before I bought one. Possibly but I'm not sure. I was specifically asking about their available LRH stocks with the M5 mini chassis inlet. He said that I can source bottom metal from Hawkins, badger, etc.- ColtSAA.45

I got a good deal on this rifle that had an Anti action. I'm not necessarily chasing ounces but it never hurts to lose a little weight for a hunting rifle. If I had a choice, I probably wouldn't have paid the extra for the Anti action. I just really prefer detachable mags over a hinged floor plate.- ColtSAA.45
