    The point of my thread is none met weight. That is weird. I load green and yellow all the time. I've also loaded these A-Max quite a bit. This is the first time ever that I had a box of any brand that none met advertised weight. I think that is weird and unusual. Was just trying to see if anyone...

    To each their own. I like sorting. Some do and some don't. I just try to make rounds that are as close as possible to identical round from round.

    To some it does. Out of 100 none met their weight. 207.7 was the closest. I had some that were as low as 207.5. This is the first time that I have ever ran into a box of bullets that none met advertised weight. I have sorted thousands upon thousands of bullets.

    I was expecting to see the majority at 208. I know some folks that will throw them in a junk bin if they don't weight what they are stated to weigh. I'm not that bad, but damn. 70 and none weigh what they are stated.

    I've gone through about 70 of 200 and none have weighed 208. The majority has been 207.7 with a couple at 207.5. I'm sorting on a Gem Pro 250. I sort to the tenth. I think it is too anal to sort to the 100th. Anyone else run into this with these bullets?

    Besides the Defiance being precise and straight, one is resale value. You could blueprint/true up a 700, sink $350 into that on top of what you have in the 700 action and at the end of all that you are still stuck with a Rem 700 action that I wouldn't give $300 for.

    338 Edge vs. 338LM

    No. You have to open the bolt face for the Lapua. Some smiths won't build a 338 Lapua on a Remington action.
