Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

Its not as simple as opening the bolt face. The extractor/ejector would have to be completely redone. And the V would not work in the 223 mag.

Well im glad you asked CB. Its not gona feed well because the factory ammo is loaded short to fit in AR mags. Like 2.125” COAL for the stuff I have in front of me. The distance from the end of the SA mag feed lips to the chamber mouth is aprox 2.560”. Might be able to make it better if...

Gunsmithing New Manners PRS2 Platinum Shell - Barrel Channel Off?

Its not unusual for an inlet to be off or a mini chassis to be out of line. You can double check that the action has clearance from the stock. Sometimes paint/bondo can overhang the inlet. Also check that your trigger is not contacting the MC. I know Manners will take care of you if...

    Gunsmithing Rifle bedding life span

Thats going to depend on how well the stock was prepared, correct mix ratio of epoxy, how much epoxy used, how much solvent and cleaning products you dump into your action/ect when cleaning. Ect ect. All things equally well, Im not sure what the life of the bedding would be. Im sure a...

Should I bed laminate stock on Remington Ultimate muzzleloader?

Not gona hurt to see how it shoots first. Piller bedding will help things be more consistent and keep the wood from compressing over time. If you remove stock material before you bed, watch because the laminate can chip/chunk out easy

Gunsmithing Stiller Predator long term reports?

Almost every stiller ive seen has had tapered lugs, some bad enough to send back. I would spend a few more bucks if that and get a Kelblys Atlas

    Gunsmithing 7RM + 180 ELD-M reamer spec questions

First off, GREAT idea not goin PTG!!! I would go with the CIP length chassis and mags. Extra room never hurt, should be plenty of length for the RM. mock up a round with ideal neck/shoulder junction and check the COAL VS mag max. Load up your dummy round and send it off. You can spec...
