    Rifle Scopes Premier Heritage Parallax

Re: Premier Heritage Parallax Thanks for the comments folks. Very helpful, especially Glock. Popeye, when you start buying my gear, then you can rant and rave about how I care for it. Thanks for your comments nonetheless. Paul, still not buying the debris theory. However, you work on...

    Rifle Scopes Premier Heritage Parallax

So, I own a 3-15x50 Premier Heritage scope. It's a great scope but my only complaint is that the parallax adjustment has no point of reference. Compared with my S&B 5-25x56 PM2 which has reference points for parallax adjustment, this is kind of a pain. Especially when completing in a timed match...

    Suppressors NFA Transfers

Tried to search for where this might be already posted, my apologies in advance if it's posted elsewhere. My question, if you set up an NFA Trust, what is entailed with transferring items that I already own to the trust? Is a second "tax" required? Merry Christmas!

What is your favorite powder for 308?

Re: What is your favorite powder for 308? The Tac has some challenges due to its temperature sensitivity. Varget and 8208XBR don't have this issue.

    New Lapua 308 palma brass.

Re: New Lapua 308 palma brass. Any updates on this topic? Does changing to the small rifle primer change the charge used for these loads? Thanks in advance for any new comments.

    .308 high pressure?

Re: .308 high pressure? Thanks everyone for their comments. Clark you are an amazing resource. By the way, I have found that TAC due to temp sensitivity is not the greatest powder for precision reloads. I have found several other interesting things out in this process, will share in a future...

    .308 high pressure?

I started to play with some .308 loads this weekend. I'm using 43.5 grains Ramshot Tac and pushing a 168 Sierra Matchking. I chrono'd the loads and came up with about 2800 FPS. This seems a little hot to me and is significantly faster than the speeds published on Western Powders website with...

Any ideas for inexpensive steel targets?

Re: Any ideas for inexpensive steel targets? I just went to Pacific Steel and bought a 32"x20"x1/2" piece of steel. Cost me $58. I see that there is a PS in Rock Springs and Laramie. Any other steel provider that sells pipe/rebar or sheet steel should be able to help you out.

    PGW Coyote (.308) Range Report

So, I received my PGW Coyote about a week ago. Ordered this gun in January, if the guys at PGW tell you that it takes 4-6 weeks for clearance on importing the gun, I can say that time is overly optimistic. Overall the PGW people are really great to work with, I mostly dealt with Ross who was...

Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

Re: Idea! Official DTA SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread Yeah, saw the episode tonight as well. Think I'll probably order one within the next week or two. Just can't decide if I'll get both .338LM and .308 or just the .338 and add the .308 down the road.
