The front posts are slightly smaller than the relief on the under side of the optic so you could feel some wiggle there but at least the bottom of the optic sat square and tight to the cut on the slide.- black5.3

@lowlight if it works it works. The only concern I would have running it that way long term would be that if the only points of contact are the studs and the screws I would wonder if it could cause issues overtime since it’s not screwed down flat to the milled surface. But I mean it’s working...- black5.3

When I put a 507k on my 43x mos I used a smaller flat file and completely filed down the rear lugs flat to the slide and then just filed down the front far enough until the optic sat flush. I took my time and held the slide in a vice so everything was tight. I checked the front lug fit by...- black5.3

It could have been a lot worse. Mistakes happen and some mistakes cost more than others. This is most true when it comes to mistakes made in reloading. Glad you’re ok, take it as a reminder to not get complacent on the small details.- black5.3

Ok, i did the same(6.5 through a ultra 7 .30)for a few years before I got my ultra 7 .264. Sweet man, put some more rounds through it and report back to us. I mean, it’s a TBAC so it’s good but i’m still interested on your thoughts after more time behind it.- black5.3

My Dominus CB has been ordered and waiting for it to be made now before i start the form 4 wait. Pretty excited to add it to my other TBAC cans. I plan to run it on a 18” spr style 5.56 and on a shorter 13” AR in 5.56.- black5.3

Haven’t seen it mentioned yet but you buy the size carrier for the plates that are sized for you. I run larger plates so i run a large carrier.
