Not without modification. The m1 Garand barrel would require the addition of a barrel block so the scope mount mount will fit. The CMP gunsmithing shop will make this mod or alternatively, can install an M1D barrel. The M1D barrel has a built in block M1 Garand barrel- buffalowinter

My solution to protestors who interrupt Congressional proceedings
Bag 'Em and Gag 'Em Takes the fight right out of them. Surprises them and shuts them up, very disorienting, unable to effectively resist, safer for the officer, and keeps them out of the camera. Had this done to me in Special Forces, don't see a problem. And, as an interesting sidenote, one...- buffalowinter
