    CZ 457

It’s wide enough. I make arca rails out of G10 and have mounted them on the pro Varmint model and the Boyd’s At One model. The pro Varmint is a lot wider but here is one on an AT One Boyd’s stock that I cerakoted blue.

Rifle Scopes Athlon Argos gen 2 vs Vortex diamondback tactical

From my understanding it was designed to be a scope with all the features you want on a competition optic but still fit within NRL22 base class. Personally I have never used one but I have heard good things about the optic from people I trust. I also know guys who are using these on larger...

Rifle Scopes Athlon Argos gen 2 vs Vortex diamondback tactical

Personally I could care less about a zero stop. I don’t use them on a rimfire. I have a 40 moa rails on my rimfire rifles and only a few mils under 0 do it isn’t necessary. The 10 mil per rev turrets and at least a locking windage turret is what makes the Bushnell so much more appealing to me. 5...

Rifle Scopes Athlon Argos gen 2 vs Vortex diamondback tactical

Honestly I would look at the Bushnell if you are trying to stay in base class. I have owned both Vortex and Athlon and sold both. The 5 mil per rev turrets we’re a real deal breaker for me. The Bushnell has 10 mil per rev locking turrets and a real zero stop which neither the Vortex or Athlon have.

Any 22LR that compare with Vudoo?

Wow! That’s pretty bad. If the crown looks like that I can imagine what the inside looks like. This is what I call a case of bad operator head space and timing. That has to be eithe a whole lot of rounds without cleaning or some really dirty ammo. I had a friend shoot nearly 3k rounds without...

    Tikka T1X

I have found that if I just don’t clean I will get a carbon ring and start getting a first round cold bore flyer after around 1200-1500 rounds. When I say cold I mean I can let the gun cool down for 15-20 minutes and get the flyer. It really screwed me in a match once. Basically every first...

    Tikka T1X

My factory barrel shot pretty consistently right around .35 with Eley Edge or Center x. It was more than good enough for positional shooting. The biggest reason I switched barrels was because I wanted a heavier barrel and I wanted a 16“ barrel. I just decided that if I was going to spend the...

    Tikka T1X

My T1x with the aftermarket barrel will consistently shoot .2-.3 but mine isn’t a drop in. I has a smith chamber And custom fit a barrel for mine. The easy button for that kind of accuracy will be a Vudoo.

    MPA BA22 CZ 457 Opinions

How does the bolt run with the rear action screw really loose?

    MPA BA22 CZ 457 Opinions

It sounds like the rear action screw is hitting your bolt. This is a pretty common problem I have seen especially if you over torque the action screws. I put a CZ 457 into an MPA chassis so mine isn‘t a MPA built rifle but I have never put 65 in/lbs of torque on any of my rimfire rifles. I...

Optics Vortex 5-25x56 Strike Eagle (SOLD)

I have Mil/Mil Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x56. The scope is basically new. It was mounted taken to the range once and I decided I need something smaller. I did put a Vortex Sticker on it which I can leave on or take off at the buyer discretion. SOLD shipped. Not interested in trades at this point.

    Tikka T1X

With some of the T3 stocks you will need to clear a little area for the bolt that holds the mag well on the T1x. The other common modification is clearing a little area for the bolt release. Both of those modifications are usually pretty simple.

No problem. Glad I could help.

    KRG Bravo Cheekpiece Posts

Those marks are caps. Below them are two hex screws you need to tighten them up. The easiest way to remove them is to loosen the posts more and use the bolt inside to push the caps out. My Bravo for my Tikka came with two different cheek rests and I swapped them out to the one with a notch cut...

    Sk long range ammo

In general my Tikka shot everything pretty decent. I used to practice with CCI SV. It didn’t shoot great but it was good enough for positional practice inside 100 yards. I usually stick to practicing inside 100 because it’s all about smooth transitions and building a stable position. That is...

    Sk long range ammo

I have been told that most of the winter biathlon type ammo is more temp stable but I have not tried it. Right now I shoot SK in my Vudoo and I have not observed a huge velocity swing in it. That said I haven’t got to really shoot it in the cold yet. All the Eley ammo I have shot has crazy...

    Sk long range ammo

Just about every 22 ammo I have tried is temperature sensitive. It seems like about every 10 degrees makes a difference in velocity. The summer and winter velocity difference on the Eley Force I have is about 30-40 FPS. I saw the same with Eley Contact. 1100 FPS in the summer. 1060 in the winter.
