    Good shots, tex. Mine is lapped as well, and the barrel fit is quite snug. I've had my doubts about bedding the barrel into the receiver.... Did you ever shoot the gun without the loctite?

    What kind of accuracy could one expect to achieve with an AR10 in .308 with excellent hand loaded ammunition?

    In need of some resizing help

    I use a sizing wax on any of my rifle cases. Never have any sticking problems. Some are harder than others to get through the press but you can feel the difference between a sticky case, and one that's just moving a lot of brass.

    They do get hard to find every now and then. I just order 500 from brownells whenever I get low and they're in stock.

    Bump vs Full Length Sizing

    I use the Redding precision shell holders. They come in a set of 5 or 6 and in various heights. Use the right one so you resize the least but the brass still fits your chamber. They're expensive but I don't like the crap about backing out the die, etc. Just not as repeatable. For my 6.5...

    FYI: Stopped in my local'ish gun store that had some MPA BA rifles in stock. Cycled the bolt and pulled the trigger and handed it right back to them. Holy moly what a sweet gun.

    Guys, all I asked was if the more pricey factory rifles are worth it, and where the extra money goes when spending 2500 vs 1200 dollars. I dont need advice on shooting or reloading or helping me pick the right one. I was just curious.

    I dont want to shop around for a cheap rifle. I want to spend good money on a good rifle. Bergara makes some high dollar rifles. Those are the ones i'm talking about.

    Both Savage and Ruger make excellent guns capable of firing 1 hole groups with the right handloads. Both guns are in the 1100-1200 dollar range. Are the higher end rifles Like Bergara and MPA worth double the price? They're more expensive so I've had a hard time finding any youtube warriors...
