    Blew Primer out on a starter load...

    2.200 COAL. 1.635 to ogive. Chamber is 1.675, so 0.040 of jump - no 'jam' seating. Primers were Federal 205.

    KeyMod Bolt Torque

    Will try the loktite. Just a really small bolt for blue. I have been tightening to 20 in-lb & attached in direction opposite of recoil (like a scope).

    Don't know. As I said, I'm fairly careful in my reloading. If primer is easy or tight, I inspect. Obviously I missed something. Do not believe that it was a dangerous situation, but still a little concerned.

    I feel your pain. I'm slowly losing my hearing and younger than you. Trying to convince my son to protect his hearing. Then again, he is 22 & believes that Superman has nothing on him. With a muzzle brake, you cannot eliminate the hearing damage, even with muffs. Muffs protect your ears...
