    I have a Bushnell xtr gen 1. No problem at all. Just want to comment that Bushnell has money back warranty. Just call and send it back for repair. If there is still issue, claim for your $$$$ back and move on with other brand.

    Like other member said, low light, yes. Low mag, yes. High mag, you see the line easy. I have 5 scopes w and 2 without illumination. Is it a must? No. Just nice to have.

    DTA SRS muzzle brake removel.

    Thanks for all your suggestions. Will give the long lighter under the brake a try first. Will try boiling water as last resort. I am hoping not to damage the brake and use it in the 308 barrel. Also, not to damage the 338lm barrel too. Thanks again.

    What wjm308 said. If you have something less elevation, go with 20moa. He only reason I go with 20moa base or rail is for “just in case” I need to reach out over 1000 yd or shooting with some sub sonic load.

    My suggestion is to visit your local longer range a couple weekends. See if there is any one with higher end scope and ask to look through their scope. There is no substitute for actually looking through the scope yourself. Also, look for our optic exchange board. You may find a nice used one...
