    Good point. I think I'll load up about 10 rounds of each charge weight to make sure they function well, without beating the rifle or brass to death. Thanks for the input Guys!

    Good Middle of the road 308/AR10 load with 2000MR?

    I've got an 8lb. jug of 2000MR and need to load up 500 rounds of 308/168SMK loads for my Nephew's AR10. Has anybody used this in their AR10? If so, what weight charge and did it shoot well? I'm looking for a moderate/safe load that functions well and is fairly accurate. Thanks guys! -

    Can't find thread about quiet buffer and spring for AR

    Just grease the spring and you will eliminate the "twaaaaang" sound. A guy that I shot HP let me in on that years ago, and I have done it since. Works well.

    What's your take on Vihtavuori powders?

    I've been hearing nothing but good about their powders for years, so I finally bought 8lbs. of N140 for my 308 in bolt and M1A. I notice it doesn't produce top end velocities, so it must be clean and accurate? What is the big appeal? I found it was more expensive, but it was available!

    FULL LENGTH SIZING DIES This is what I was looking for! Bonus that it is a FL die also. If less body sizing is wanted, you can back off the die and adjust the shoulder bump accordingly. Expensive, but will be a fine addition to my toy (I mean tool) collection! Lol

    I thought the mic head would allow for easier adjustments due to the finer threads on the mic head (or even a knurled stem head, like on the "s" style dies). I can (and do) adjust them the old fashioned way, but it seems a very inexact way of tuning it.

    After messing with loads in my 222 Rem, I noticed it gives best accuracy with a Horn 50V-Max jammed into the rifling. WAY into the rifling! (about .050"). Does anyone else jam this much into the lands, or is this somehow a bad idea? Thanks-

    I buy them for use in my M1A using iron sights. For confidence in precision, I use Lapua for my 5R. The headstamps make it clear which rifle the loaded cartridge is for, or was fired in.
