    CheyTac 338 Lapua Brass

Re: CheyTac 338 Lapua Brass Guys from what i've seen in the development of these founds is that the limitation isn't from the brass flow, it's from the work hardening process of firing at higher pressures and the brass eventually becoming brittle. I've seen split necks etc., yes, but as you...

Re: Cheytac's M200 bipod setup That'd be the legendary XM-2 yep, I built that rifle. Hence the fluted receiver and some other niceties!!

    Cheytac's M200 bipod setup

Re: Cheytac's M200 bipod setup Here are some more photos of the 200 design on EDM type rifles. For those who don't know, at one time, the M200 was a modified EDM Windrunner rifle. CT now has the recievers built by their providor, barrels by Lawton and the final assembly done by cheytac.

    Cheytac's M200 bipod setup

Re: Cheytac's M200 bipod setup I do not. There is no installation done yet on a McRee, I just know it will work. I've looked at it, was going to do that after I did the M107 modification. The mounting is similar to the method used on this pic of the system on an M107 rifle. Trigger

    Cheytac's M200 bipod setup

Re: Cheytac's M200 bipod setup Yep, the McCree stock would need the over the barrel night vision mount adapter on board. However, if you have one without it, I can manufacture one and install it on your stock. Trigger

    Cheytac's M200 bipod setup

Fellas, Odds are good that i'm going to do a joint run of M200 CheyTac type bipods in the very near future. A deposit to secure one of these setups will be asked. The amount will be made available within the next week or so. They will fit the following rifles in a bolt-on configuration. 1...

starting loads dimensions for 375 Chey tac

Re: starting loads dimensions for 375 Chey tac Loads .020 off of the lands. Start with 131.5 gr. RE25. With a 29.5" barrel, I yielded 3050 fps. Could easily get 3250 with 135.00 gr. RE-25, but too much heat, and not enough gain to justify that speed. Trigger

50 CAL- AMAX 750grn- What BC do you run ?

Re: 50 CAL- AMAX 750grn- What BC do you run ? .920 is the 3000 yard average BC. Works far better than the 1.052 claimed by Hornaday, which is not remotely accurate based on flight data. That figure is based on weights and measures, which IS accurate using the formula. Warren Jensen said...

    338 Lapua Reloading Components

Shooters, this is a non-aligned professional bump for CheyTac's new 338 Lapua brass, made by Jamison International. I've tested this brass and saw some of the high pressure testing done on these cases. They are superior to anything out there. Including Lapua's brass. Jamison has a solid handle...

TAC 50- What other bipods work ?? Help

Re: TAC 50- What other bipods work ?? Help I'd be willing to have 25 or so of these made, but i'd need 750.00 deposit up front for the metal and work. Have offered this before, and only 2 or 3 respond. Too much up front capitol needed for a job that only half items get sold on. You know...

TAC 50- What other bipods work ?? Help

Re: TAC 50- What other bipods work ?? Help I don't have a problem at all with the homebrew solutions. My issue is when COMPANIES knock off an idea and then push it as their own design. That stuff is a big part of the reason I left that business. No original ideas, just alot of knock off...

Re: TAC 50- What other bipods work ?? Help The barrels are not fluted. They were Lawton barrels and strand wound by Mike Degerness of Advanced Barrel Systems. More video of the stability of over the barrel bipod systems. There a couple of knockoffs out there of this Cheytac design. The...

TAC 50- What other bipods work ?? Help

Re: TAC 50- What other bipods work ?? Help Hi guys, I modified those stocks back then, it made parts of the M200's bipod interchangable. Cheytac has their own modified A-5 stock for Lawton action guns, BUT, the problem still is the bipod setup. A Harris (or any other beneath the forearm...
