    Atlas Bi-Pod Junk???

I switched to an Atlas bipod because I wasn't crazy about how rigid the Harris was. I was able to shoot some pretty decent groups with it. It was a v7 that I got from another member here and since I now have a PSR, the v7 went back to the original owner for a new build. Any future rifle that...

    Tab gear

Great to hear another successful startup story. It never fails to impress me how someone can take something that started in your dining room to a full on business that employs family and friends. I'll be keeping an eye out for that list of "dusty" stuff. ;)

Sidearms & Scatterguns Sig Scorpion traditional 1911 range report

Not always. The leather holsters are pretty rigid as well. I have a small of back holster for my SW1911 and the Sig only fits if you shove it in there making it nearly impossible to get out. That goes for most of the traditional 1911 holsters available....it fits....but it's so tight that you...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Carry knife preferences

Hey, I've got an 0561. Where'd you get the micarta scales or did you make them? Looks sweet! For me, daily carry used to be a KaBar Komodo sheepsfoot. I'm usually really just opening boxes and such and figured the straighter blade came closer to a box knife or utility knife. Just recently...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Sig Scorpion traditional 1911 range report

What are you guys with the Sig 1911's (not the traditional slide versions) doing about holsters? I've been looking but not a lot of options out there. Mostly the custom kydex makers are the only option at this point or the generic holsters.

Paintjob for LowLight - 300 Norma AX

Sick! I've been thinking about a couple different multicam patterns as well. Like an urban multicam (black, white and different shades of grey) and maybe a zombie multicam (neon green and black with different shades of green and maybe some neon orange). Great work Short bus!!!

This is an awesome thread. Thought about and read about a lot of this as well but it's nice to see it confirmed by a few knowledgeable folks.

    Reloading supply shortage

I got two boxes of 175 SMK's from Natchez a few months ago....shipped into NYC. Powder, good luck finding it and primers have the extra hazard cost for shipping. I'd try to find it in a store or something.

    Recommend a 1-3 day pack

I traded up from a 5.11 Rush 12 to a TAD litespeed. The heavily padded shoulder straps weren't *that* comfortable since I like the flatter straps that Eberlestock and TAD gear use. It was also really difficult to adjust the shoulder straps while wearing the 5.11 (it was Fall and I was going...

    Thoughts on new Gunslinger II

I don't think the frame is load bearing....just helps distribute and manage the weight.

Let's talk packs--Redesign of the GSII? Or suggestion from another manufacturer?
