    I'm using the Accurate Mags, CIP length. Mine feed well. Your mag length needs to match your bottom metal.

    Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

    In my case, everything looks great at 100 to 300 yards. However, the best long distance accuracy (800-1000 yards) comes at the top end of the loading charts. My home range is at 6500 ft above sea level so getting more velocity is a little easier but it seems kind of rough on the gun.

    Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

    My SPR, A3G 24 inch, does really well with 175 SMK's but they have to pushed hard, like 2730 fps. 168's aren't stable beyond 500 yards. 155's, SMK's or AMAX, are good but the indicators say faster is better. The rifle only has about 1000K through it. Does anyone else's act like this?

    My only hunting rifle is a 30-06 with a 22 inch barrel. Light weight, wide range of bullets available, wide range of commercial ammo and it always works.

    I've seen 2 others on different boards. It hasn't been enough to make me think it occurs often. I just wanted other opinions. It would be great if it provided that data close to My Kestrel. Close is fine. Farther off is aa 2nd guess.

    I have the 10K on order. So is the weather disparity an on going issue? I've only seen this reported a couple of times. I really don't want to buy another RF that doesn't come close to it's advertising.

    Recommendations for EDC for the wife

    I've taught a lot of women's CCW classes over the years. The number one choice for most of those students has a S&W 442/642 .38 revolver. Easy, reliable and simple. That said, she needs to find what she's comfortable with, will practice with and will actually carry. Good luck.

    300wm Muzzle Brake. Eff everyone standing next to me.

    I used a Cone-Trol self timing brake for a couple of months. It was pretty effective. I switched to a TBAC CB brake when I got the suppressor. The CB Brake is pretty effective but I almost never shoot the 300 with out the can now.

    Best Powder for 308/150GR Bullet?

    My favorite for 308 is IMR4064. However, I did find some good data for 150/155's and H380 in an older load manual. All three of my 308's like it.
