    yeah, I thought about that but I don't like their reticle choices. this is to go on a 16" AR with match barrel in the DMR-style. It's used mainly around 400yds. I would be happy with a simple illuminated mildot, which they don't offer in that scope.

    I'm looking for a 2-10x with illumination. I have been considering the PSTII 2-10x32 or Burris XTRii 2-10x42. anyone have a preference for one or the other and/or am I missing another good option?

    yeah, those are nice but I don't really have that much money for this. I have a Bobro single-lever with a SS1-6 in it. I don't know if it would handle the weight of the 2.5-15x50 scope on a .308 but if I was confident it would work I'd swap that out and look at something lighter for the 1-6 on...

    thanks for the reply. I'm actually looking for a solution for a 308 gas gun. I'm not going to be moving the scope around to different guns but I do have folding back-up sights. the mount doesn't have to be QD but I do lean toward a 1-piece mount. any suggestions?..
