    And be careful on the terminology when confirming. Don't use Bore size. There are two measurements - Grove and Land diameter. Its the grove diameter you need to confirm is .308.

    Its fine if your 7.62x39 barrel grove diameter is .308. Oddly not all gun and barrel manufacturers are clear on this. The Faxon barrel I'm currently using is one example. I believe the Ruger Mini 30 in 7.62x39 is another.
