    More light implies a larger objective lens diameter. While a few LPVOs out there do use 28mm objectives, most, whether 30mm or 34mm tube, stick with a 24mm objective. The rest is just successful marketing. ILya

    There are a few around, but the price is not yet what you want for a commercial/civilian product. The best one I saw is not available to civilians at all. i3, on the other hand, sells them to civilians, but it is too expensive.

    The way they approach having a clip-on work with high mag scopes is very innovative. I do not like to draw too many conclusions off of prototypes, so I am rather impatiently waiting until there is a production version to look at. What I saw at SHOT looked extremely promising. ILya

    They showed a very clever clip-on during SHOT Show. I do not think it is available yet, but the early one they had looked pretty good. I am guessing they'll have it out and available sometime during the second half of the year.

    Thank you for your kind words on the G4 reticle. I fully agree with you when it comes to hunting reticles. It is a little different for the long range/competition ones. I do like nicely open top half, but a little bit of information up there has not been in the way too much in my experience...

    They had it at SHOT, but under the counter. That was the first time I saw it in the scope. As is usually the case, there is more than one way to skin a cat. If you use a precision reticle in an MPVO, the assumption is that the illumination is good enough to use it easily on low power. ILya
