    I've looked through both and went with the Cronus. My eyes couldn't see the difference in the glass and I personally like the Athlon reticles more than the Burris. YMMV but I would say pick the reticle you like more.

    That's another great range to head to. Little bit bigger spread than BCFG and the range goes out to 300 so that is fun too. Totally get the desire to shoot on Saturday vs Sunday. Hopefully I'll catch you at one at some point.

    Really depends on the range. Were you shooting the match at Baltimore County Fish and Game? That is pretty close to standard spread.     Lots of options out there for stocks and chassis. MDT LSS, MDT XRS, KRG Bravo, Oryx, PDC Custom, MDT ACC, XLR Element, MPA CZ Chassis and Manners stocks all come to mind off the top of my head. I'm sure I'm forgetting some. All depends on your price point.

    Its not that they are banned outright. They are just so heavily regulated that it discourages ownership. The biggest joke is that there is an arbitrary requirement to have "heavy barrel" or HBAR because that makes it closer to a clone of the Colt Sporter and less of a "military grade" weapons...

    Welcome to the club. I just got mine all put together and it is a hammer. I asked Zermatt and the answer I got was between 40 and 80 ft lbs but to check with PVA (who did my barrel). Their recommendation is 70 ft lbs. You might want to double check with Primal.
