Re: "New" Toy Thanks, prairie dogs and yotes beware. This is my first aftermarket barrel, and all I can say is wow! So much easier to clean, hardly any fouling, smooth as silk. The wait was definitely worth it!!

Range Report My 9 year olds 1st group.

Re: My 9 year olds 1st group. Wow, that's good shooting on his part. That goat has some messed up horns....hooks pointing backwards and shovels that are swept up tall....I don't know, maybe they just look weird in the picture. Either way, you have a good looking family there that...

    Range Report 270 win?

Re: 270 win? I like the .270 for a hunting round, it has good ballistics....but there aren't many match bullets made for it. I say shoot what ever makes you content, but there are other calibers available to you, with far more bullet choices. Not knockin the .270 at all, just saying.

Re: FN Moron shoots himself in the arm, (on purpos There are more idiots out there just like him, I seen one dumbass video of a guy taking a .45 and shooting himself in the palm, and then video taping through the hole in his hand. It makes you wonder what the hell these people are...

Hunting & Fishing Check out this BEAVER!

Re: Check out this BEAVER! A few years ago I shot a male and female pair. When I went down to retrieve them, I was having a hard time carrying them back up the side of the riverbank. My Great Uncle who was with me at the time, said those were the largest beavers he had ever seen. Wish I...

    Gunsmithing Bedding

Re: Bedding Or buy yourself some accraglass, it's cheaper than Devcon. If you need a good tutorial check out wnroscoe's thread or a thread that I wrote...it's somewhere here in the gunsmithing section just do a search. And I agree this will be good practice for you.

Gunsmithing Texturing the WHOLE stock Question

Has anyone ever textured their stock, not just the grip and forend, but the whole stock? I was considering using rocker panel spray (meduim to coarse) to add a little more texture before I paint again. The reason I am doing this is because I had to sand off my shitty paint job on my T4, and...

    Gunsmithing Lessons Learned: Rifle Bedding

I thought that I would make a post/short list for people that might want some tips with bedding. I am not a gunsmith. I feel that people might benefit from a list of materials and a few lessons that I have learned, instead of asking the same questions...

    Measuring for Lands

Re: Measuring for Lands A cool thing that my 'smith did for me when I rebarreled my rifle was when he took the 1" to 2" off the end of the barrel for crown and muzzled work, he saved that cut off pieces, cut my exact chamber and headspace into the piece. Now I have a "tool" that allows me to...

    Gunsmithing Mixing of the Devcon..

Ok, I did a search using the Google Search Engine. I know that it says 2.5:1 on the cans of Devcon....but I suck at ratios. So how many teaspoons or table spoons...didn't know if there was any "magic" to mixing this stuff. Thanks
