    If he is good at it, I'd get it, there are quite a few nice things on it. It is a different caliber that I don't really follow much, but I have killed quite a few animals over the years with a 270.

    Used 190 in my Steyer 300 win mag, worked really well. But as the others have pointed out, poking at those distances you might want to run some numbers on the heavier weights still.

    No, never. They were around 3000$ the SCAR L's were around 2000 and some change, I picked up a SCAR L locally for 2300. The cheapest I saw a SCAR H was 3050.
