Sidearms & Scatterguns Why open carry?

I am in big favor of open carry. However, I would never personally open carry except the few times I am working on the ranch and have to leave the ranch for some reason such as parts, fuel, etc. of course, this would be in extreme rural areas, so no real issue with criminals. Additionally, I...

    F T/R Competition F/TR Build?

long action weighs more and requires a heavier stock. Other than weight, I can't think of any disadvantage. The atlas bipod is great for tactical matches. every top shooter in F T/R I have seen has used a Sinclair. It may or may not hold you back. Good luck.

Has anyone tried the Midway USA Sniper's Drag Bag?

Mine has served me well and I would buy again. Like everyone else, the zipper pulls fell off fast. Of course, that is why 550 cord was invented.

Rifle Scopes Vortex Viper PST alternatives

I think any scope with a range finding reticle is covered under ITAR. Therefore, I don't think any dealer could ship it to you from the US without an export permit. I could be wrong, but that is what I was told.

    Suppressors Building first SBR

I am building my first SBR, a 10.5" 5.56. I plan to run it primarily with a can. My question is, do I need an adjustable gas block? Also, should I do anything else to enhance reliability? I will be running a full auto carrier. Thanks for the help.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Desert Eagle .50 - thoughts & experiences?

Re: Desert Eagle .50 - thoughts & experiences? I shot a friends a f times. One of the most accurate handguns I have ever shot. It as a long time ago, but I seem to remember the safety falling down while firing that was annoying. If I found one with a top rail at a good price I would be very...

Sidearms & Scatterguns 40 caliber, like or don't like

Re: 40 caliber, like or don't like The Glock 20 has only one problem, size. Those of us with midget hands can't grip it well. I still love it. I load my STI eagle 40 to mag length. It is a dream to shoot. One day I will pony up for a 1911 in 10 mm.

Sidearms & Scatterguns XDm or sig 226 elite, 9mm

Re: XDm or sig 226 elite, 9mm Pistol decision is simple: what fits your hand? If a sig fits, buy it. If a XDm fits better, buy it. I have small hands so I could never shoot a sig, hence I don't own one. Obviously you should never buy a gun with a bad rep, but the XDm does not have a bad rep...
