    Rifle Scopes Aimpoint Model Choice

How can FOV of T1 beat out M4 if it has a smaller diameter? You can also consider H1 - similar to T1, except no NV settings.

Rifle Scopes 18" SPR Optic: Leupold Mark 6 1-6x20mm, or Mark 8 1.1-8x24mm CQBSS? Help requested.

I did some quick math with JBM using .243 ballistic coefficient and muzzle velocity of 3030 ft/sec for a 55 gr .223 projectile. With zero distance set at 50 meters, it is supposed to impact 1.3" below POA at 200 meters and 1.2" above POA at 100 meters. This is one reason why a 100 meter/yard...

Rifle Scopes Horus reticle in S&B

Try a 20 MOA base first, if you are happy with the scope. Also, what model do you have? I think Leupold's FFP scopes only have mil/mil (reticle/turrets).

    Sidearms & Scatterguns hk p7 ???

I owned a P7 PSP for ... for all of a day. This gun was designed in the 70s to meet a specific requirement from the West German police. It is unique, but it is also: 1. expensive 2. more complicated 3. Has a manual of arms different than any other pistol 4. Has been eclipsed by current...

100 Yard Zero Problems (Nightforce NXS)

Check to see if the NF has a zero stop and you need to reset it. I had a similar issue with my Leupold 3-18 until I figured out the zero stop.

Re: which micro red dot? I use H1 and R1. Similar to T1, although no NV settings and slightly less water resistance but cheaper and fit my needs.

Rifle Scopes Need Help with Leupold MK6 3.5 - 18

Re: Need Help with Leupold MK6 3.5 - 18 You have the same issue I had when I initially got it. When zeroing the rifle, loosen the "zero stop" screw and turn the dial - if I remember correctly - in the direction opposite of the movement you need. I.E: if you need 5 mils up, turn it at least 5...

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Beretta M92A1 or 90-2? .40 or 9mm?

Re: Beretta M92A1 or 90-2? .40 or 9mm? Definitely get the 9mm. Just because .40 is bigger, doesn't mean it's better than modern 9mm for 90% of the time.

Gunsmithing Need glock night sights installed

Re: Need glock night sights installed You can't "fuck up a finish" by using a sight tool. How many Glocks do you have? I think a sight tool is a good thing to have - you can swap sights/add them to new guns at will. It's also easy to use.

    SIG SAUER SSG 3000

Re: SIG SAUER SSG 3000 Not really. I used one in .223 at Sig Academy and wasn't impressed. The magazine sucks - anytime I inserted it with any force, the top round would pop out. For the money, I don't see a point of buying it vs AI or Sako.
