    Cleaning Your Muzzle Brake

    I clean it when I clean the rifle. I leave it one the rifle and just wipe it down inside and out. It ends up being ever 500 rounds or so.

    Rifle Scopes $1000ish budget...

    I got the SWFA 5x20 and it is great. I would recommend it for a long range hunter. You can pick up a used one from the hide or from the sample list on swfa.com. I have 2 on my long range hunting and target rifles. PM me if you you got any specific questions.

    I think he was real dark because of the mud. He was close to a mud hole when I shot him. But I think he is still a darker color. We will see how he looks after I mount him.

    I had a great weekend. Shot this Elk in the Jarbidge wilderness area in northern Nevada. It was at 170 yards with a TC 50 cal muzzle loader.
