I managed to bend the trigger spring of my Hi-Speed NM trigger. Geiselle just asked me for my address to send me a new one.
Gotta love that kind of service.
I've been looking for Varget, but cannot find it anywhere. A buddy of mine gave me a pound of Winchester 748 and it looks like that's what I'll be using.
Any of you guys use it?
I'll be using WCC brass-- or Lapua if I can find it before I start loading rounds. Will be pushing 80gr...
Well, damn... what to adopt a 27 year-old? I can't get my old man into guns at all. Built him a 20" AR on a Seekins lower and BCM upper... I guess he liked it.
Can lead a horse to water...
Given the number of forum posts I was able to google on this issue, I think it's a quirk of the design. I'll make sure the loading gate screw is tight when I get back tonight.
loading gate, that's what it's called.
Anyways, the issue isn't really an issue so much as it's a quirk. In a perfect world, this wouldn't happen, but it seems most just alter their loading technique (leaving the rim of the previous case sticking out of the loading gate until you load the...
I realize this is not exactly the forum's forte, but I know there are a lot of knowledgeable guys running around here also.
I have a Winchester 94 that I just redid the wood on. All I did was take out the mag tube and set it aside. Decided to put the wood back on today and do a quick...
Yeah, I came across that article a few months back.
It makes perfect sense. Rather than having a finite number of parts on board that they think they might need, they can just bring enough of the printing media to make what they need as it occurs. From a design standpoint, the benefits...
I'm a naval architect (almost) and work at a company that does a lot of contracting for our and other military forces.
With this type of advances in the 3d printing, I do not feel comfortable for the ship fitters and welders. Eventually, they'll have the means and resources to 3D print the...
Then I'd say P90X is a good match for you. Always be increasing weight and resistance. I really recommend doing all you can to eat a clean diet. They're not as calorie dense, but they're not full of empty calories like crappy food is.
Are you trying to get "big" or get strong? One doesn't mean the other. To put on 20lbs of muscle, you're going to be eating a lot (calorie surplus). I don't think you'll want to get down to 8% body fat (hard) just to bulk up to gain muscle and then have to cut all the way back down to 8%...
My son turned 5 in December and got a .22lr Cricket for Christmas. He just recently got really interested in shooting it. Taking it slow and letting him learn the functioning of the rifle. He's now loading and operating it all by himself.
Also let him shoot an Advantage Arms 22lr...
Thanks, guys. I'll give the A-Max's a try. I'm sure it will be a while, if ever, that my skills are being hindered by my bullet selection. That said, I could probably shoot cast bullets to start, lol.
