OCW testing on the GAP.
Took the GAP Hospitaller out with the new tube for some load development. I was pleased with the first round. Eric, Steve, Where would you go with this? Assuming the one round at 47.5 is a flyer, I think the waterline from 46.5 to 47.5 is good so 47 looks like the load to go with. What do...- diego-ted

I am just bummed at one thing. I called 3 weeks before I sent in my rifle to discuss the rebarrel work order, which included the purchase and installation of a Jewell trigger. Barrel Life Tabulation - Please post if you have first-hand information
6.5x47 Lapua 30" Kriger heavy palma 1500 went from .5 moa to tossing flyers. 37 gr varget pushing 3050 shooting Berger 130 vlds, jammed 5k. Sometimes ran back to back 20 shot string s. Chamber showed some fire cracking and 13k erosion. Diego- diego-ted

That would not be a bad way to go if the barrel was a stinker! I figured the 42 was th3 338 that all.should m Be measured by. Werks, I know you had a bad experience with your BA but others have not, myself being one of those. My BA has been a half moa rifle from the get go. The majority of problems with these rifles has been from soft brass. A switch to properly trimmed Lapua b4ass takes care of this problem...- diego-ted
