    My current SBR is a 9" 300 Blackout that is shot mostly subsonic. As the .223 SBR parts are being acquired, to be used with full power loads, the question of blowback is raised. While I prefer a smooth side upper will I be better off with a gas vent type forward assist in the long run?

    CZ455 trainer or ANSCHUTZ?

    I have the CZ 452, Anschutz 64 target and 54 Sporter, 1712. The CZ is close enough to the 64 for the 64 to seem overpriced. Trigger work on the CZ and they are very close in accuracy. The 54 is so accurate very few rimfires are comparable, the 40x for sure. This thread on Rimfire Central...

    I would double check that as it may cover firearms, but only up to 5 or 10 thousand. Additional coverage would be higher premium/seperate policy.

    Gunsmithing Er shaw barrels?

    The Shaw barrel on a 16" 300 Blackout was good enough, and became very good when handloads were made for it. Quality is just OK but the accuracy is surprising.

    Accurate?

    CCI Standard for plinking. 22's are very ammo sensitive and you just have to try different loads. Most if not all 22 match is subsonic as it wont transition well. Try a few to see what your rifle likes.

    Re: anyone played with the cci long rifle quite? They wouldn't cycle the 10-22, Buckmark or the Mark 3. Look @ the CCI 0074, plated segmented hollow-point, subsonic. For a 22 it is devastating.

    Re: A tip on tips(rant warning) "Usually they insist that their ignorance, is a right." Most can't spell nomenclature much less understand it.... It can be frustrating for casual vernacular to be flippant about a serious subject, possibly an early sign of future Darwin Awards.
