    Those are some good numbers from a short barrel. With an AGB I bet it would still be a bear to get to run in an AR10!

    Has anyone taken the plunge with a 16” or shorter 6.5 creedmoor AR10? im feeling the fever to put together another rifle and want to hear any experiences with this barrel length. mainly to shoot 123-130 grain bullets to harvest deer out to 300 yards.

    I like the Sierra 130 game changers as an all purpose bullet. The TMK work well in my other rifles too.

    Going with a 16” Wilson Combat Paul Howe fluted recon barrel. Slowly assembling the parts to complete this upper.

    .223 - 5.56

    I was using LC brass, BR 4 primers, 25.0 grains of match, 77 grain Nosler CC with 2.250” oacl. I don’t know the case capacity differences between brass, so please start low and work up. this combo shoots sub MOA out of my LaRue PredatOBR with 18” barrel and works on steel OT to 600 yards.

    1”-1.25” groups at 100 yards out of a Noveske N6 with 16” barrel. Velocity was around 2450 fps.

    Who has used starline LRP .308 brass?

    OK. I’ll go ahead love the stuff for the second time around and see where I’m at. I’ll start at 41.8 grain to go all the way down to 41 and see what my rifle really likes.
