Suppressors For those who are unfamiliar with the joys of a .22 bolt gun and a can...

That shit is pretty quiet. But when you need to eradicate bunnys chewing your front yard's grass to death in broad daylight there's only one answer.....good ole throwin' knives (and a lot of luck).:-) It was about 10 yards

8" vs 12" barrel for a dedicated subonic and suppressed 300 Blackout. Teach me

Accuracy is fantastic. Especially with the above mentioned Lehigh 194 MEs. I dont necessarily consider it a 300 yard gun with the way I set up mine. I purpose built it as a short range rig. I highly doubt i would ever stretch it beyond 150. You could certainly shoot out to 300 as long as youre...

Who makes the best ambi charging for an ar

Depends if you are shooting suppressed or not as the AXTS (Rainier) Raptor sucks when it comes to gas redirection/management. If that isnt a factor then the Raptor is a great choice. Very ergonomic design.

8" vs 12" barrel for a dedicated subonic and suppressed 300 Blackout. Teach me

Im surprised seekins would tell you that. No difference in accuracy, maybe slight variances in trajectory, but even then the differences will be minimal with subs. I went 8" for mine - which is also a dedicated suppressed rig shooting subs exclusively. The only way id go 12" is if you wanted to...

POF Minuteman .308 - cheap, any good?

There are also significant design changes to the lower. Its essentially a full ambi lower using a pretty unique layout of the operating controls.

    Gunsmithing Cerakote: Blasting vs. Sanding

I soak twice. Soak --> Degrease (bake) --> blast (i use 80 grit AO) --> soak (to remove any remnants of blast media) --> air dry and blow out parts with compressed air --> paint & bake. I use acetone for soaking/degreasing.

    Suppressors 30 cal suppressor recommendations

Id look at the SAS Resistor. Its 12.5 ounces and only 8". It wouldnt be awesome for a high rate of fire on a 5.56, but would be the ultimate lightweight, compact set up for a 300 BLK. Its unique in the fact that it maintains incredible attenuation compared to the larger 30 cal cans. If youre...

    Suppressors 300 blackout can issue

With subs it most definintely will work. But make absolutely sure you're only running subs if you end up going with the pistol can. Ive run both the TiRant45 and TiRant9 on my 8.2" 300 BLK. I used a 5/8-24 to .578 x 28 adapter and they both metered under 130 dbs with factory 185 gr Gemtech subs...

    Adjustable ar stock for cheap

Thats a great looking stick Danco! Those new Spikes lowers are f'ing ridiculous. Did you intentionally not install a bolt catch on the left side? Clearance issues with side charging handle?

    GAP-10/Geissele trigger malfunction (Easy Fix?)

Also check your grip screw. Ive seen some protrude just a hair too far into the lower - especially on this particular receiver set - which pushes up on the back of the Geissele units just enough that it causes your trigger not to reset consistently. In the cases ive seen where this is the issue...

POF Minuteman .308 - cheap, any good?

I would speculate that it's because POF is about to start shipping their Gen4 308 lowers and - as rumor has it - i hear that the new rail that will be shipping with the Gen4s will be very keymoddy. Just a rumor, thats all.

    Gunsmithing Cerakote: Blasting vs. Sanding

It's night and day difference. I missed a couple mags during a Cerakote run a few years back and decided to take the emory cloth to them instead. It turned out horrible. The lines are clearly noticeable and the finish feels dramatically different. Blasting is imperative IMO if you want the...

POF Minuteman .308 - cheap, any good?

At first i thought these might be mistaken for the shitty Puritan rifles POF came out with not long ago. But these are legit. Same thing as a factory 16.5" P308 but you get what is in my opinion the better of their two rails and a free Sniper Grey cerakote job. All at $1k less than the rest of...

POF Minuteman .308 - cheap, any good?

Thats a damn good deal for that rifle. I have zero complaints with mine. While its a bit of a custom rig, it started out - and it fundamentally still is - a tried and true POF. Id say grab that up lickety split! There's a LOT you can do to these rifles to make them damn near flawless...

    Suppressors Silencerco 556 Saker

Per the priorities you listed, its a good choice. It has a very solid lock up requiring minimal maintenance compared to other QD systems. Durability is right up there with the best of the best. Accuracy wise I don't see any accuracy improvement nor do i see any negative aspects in regards to...

    Gap 10

^^^^well said......and chicks do dig it. If you think it doesnt have much recoil with a crowned muzzle, try popping a lantac or precision armament brake on that bad boy and see what happens. And to top off a great thread full of 100% legit info and accurate statements - LCDR is also on point...
