My secret to speedy case prep....

Fuck dude... Lead styphnate (lead 2,4,6-trinitroresorcinate, C6HN3O8Pb ), whose name is derived from styphnic acid, is an explosive used as a component in primer and ... As with other lead-containing compounds, lead styphnate is inherently toxic to humans if ingested i.e. can cause heavy...

My latest toy-need load info please-.338 Norma Imp.

I think you're going to want to go slower than retumbo. I doubt you'll be able to go near 100% fill with retumbo and a 300 otm.

I want to be a cop Where do i start? LEO replies greatly appreciated

Step 1: Practice violating people's rights Step 2: Repeat step 1 Step 3: Practice ordering people around Step 4: Repeat steps 1-3 Step 5: Practice befriending suspects so you can later hold them to a version of events in court that they spoke of when they were under great stress. Step 6...

Rifle Scopes Schmidt & Bender PM II options

I prefer mtc, and as for the locking turrets - you dont have to use the locking part. I sure don't. That was my chief complaint about the bushnell was how huge the turret was if you left it up all the time. The locking part could be a nice option if you ever wanted to use the scope for...

Rifle Scopes Can I tnstall rings (Nightforce or Seekins) without a torque wrench?

This... And think about what inch-lbs means. If the spec is 25in-lb, that means 25lbs of force at 1" out from center of the screw. You can probably guess relatively close to that and call it good.

Datum line for 338 Norma mag help needed.

Technically I believe it should be .450, but i think you'll be fine with .420 if you're just needing to know how far to bump the shoulders.

Hats off to Mr.Tim "Moon" Roberts

No offense, but Dave Tooley did, and I'd put his work up against anybody's. He's a class act. Don't forget the 1.35 minimum tenon diameter for the 300nm barrel. Good luck, though i highly doubt you need any luck if youre sending to moon :).

    lapua 220 Grain .308 Scenar- L

I had similar results. They're amazing bullets, very consistent and very accurate. My 30-338 lapua project just didn't get me the velocity I needed for it to make sense, so I'm selling the 378 I have remaining. Curious what you're shooting them out of?

Rifle Scopes CCW vs CW turret, preference and why?

So you're just confirming what I've already stated about you... You have zero fucking experience taking the turrets off. Maybe next time you'll keep your mouth shut and NOT contradict someone in a condescending manner who does have actual experience taking the turrets off and disabling and...

Rifle Scopes CCW vs CW turret, preference and why?

1.) You weren't doing it right if it took a "ton of force" and you never even got it off. 2.) It will not ruin the scope. The internet is full of people making claims of things they have no experience. I guess you are one of that type.

Rifle Scopes CCW vs CW turret, preference and why?

I'll second what those two said about CCW. If you don't yet have a preference, make CCW your preference moving forward. I prefer MTC. They're a little jumpy on a S&B, much better on premiers IMO, but I'd still rather have it than not. I have a hard time discerning my exact click without...
