    Woox Furiorsa Ultra

I have been using a Woox Furiosa on a Vudoo for over a year, shooting at least 6 times a month . I have a couple of observations. The butt stock is removable, which is nice, but it is very tough to keep tight and prevent it from flexing vertically. The aluminum spine in the fore end was...

Spotters Spotting scope recommendations for ~$1500?

Burris makes an MRAD reticle eyepiece that works in a gen 1 Razor 80mm spotting scope. That’s what I use.

SOLD Northrup Grumman MKVII, WP tube, 10k rangefinder - $3000

I turned a pvc spacer that allowed a 18500 rechargeable 3.7v battery to power my Mark VII. It works great.

Optics "Liberty Optics and Snipers Hide, Always a Great Match"

Honestly, if I need to genuinely hide anything from my bride of 31 years, I shouldn't be doing it. We both budget our "play money" (she flies a small plane).

Optics "Liberty Optics and Snipers Hide, Always a Great Match"

That happened to me too! She very proudly placed it in the middle of my desk. You could say that I have had to do a little extra gardening and yard work, lol. It's a good thing I did'nt get a hard copy of a receipt for a Mark 7 Revolution.

    Spotters Tripod recommendations?

If I’m stationary, by far my favorite tripod for use with a spotting scope is a heavy Manfrotto with a video head. They are plentiful and cheap on Facebook market place. If I’m moving, I use my carbon fiber tripod.

35 Whelen, A great round being forgotten.

I inherited a Ruger No.1 in 35 Whelen, as well as a No. 1 in 458 win Mag and a 45/70 No.1. They are beautiful rifles.

I got as far as as entering my cc info, then crash… no order. I’m still impressed that MDT does this.

    Cz457 vs T1x vs b14r

Get a CZ 457 MTR. I own two Tikka T1X's, one with a Lothar Walthar barrel, and the other has a custom Shilen Match Select barrel. They shoot great but feeding is an issue that keeps me from loving them and I have tried every trick and mod that I know of to make them run. My CZ 457 MTR and the...

    Spotters Sig Customer Service

No discount was offered. I did not expect one either, as my Kilo 2000 failed after the 5 years. They did mention that there was a lifetime warranty on the optics of the range finder. I am very glad for that as I use it daily as a 7x monocular lol. I replaced the rangefinder with a Vortex...

    Spotters Sig Customer Service

My Sig Kilo 2000 display faded out and it was only on it's second battery with minimal use. I was just outside the 5 years, so I was out of luck. Somehow I missed the "5 years warranty on electronics" in the lifetime warranty fine print, which Sig pointed out when I called. Lesson learned. I...

    Bushnell XRS3

I did use Koshkin's way of setting the diopter. That is how I knew something was wrong and prompted me to have Bushnell take a look at my first XRS3. I really appreciate the expertise and insight to the technical part of the optics world that Koshkin gives us.

    Bushnell XRS3

I sent my XRS3 to Bushnell and It turns out it "would not focus properly". They promptly replaced it with a new one and total turn around time was 9 days. The sample I received has the glass I expected. Thumbs up Bushnell.

    Bushnell XRS3

I really want to like my XRS3, but I don't. The glass on my model is not as good as the Vortex Viper PST 2's I have looked through. It is bad enough that I cannot see impacts on steel at 500-700 yards that I can clearly see with the two first gen Athlon Cronus's that I was using, and am now...
