    Suppressors Surefire Questions

Re: Surefire Questions So there is a specific brake to use a 556 with a 762 can (MB556ssn)? My SKS is currently not threaded, so if I get it done I can get it threaded however I assume and it should be concentric. So I should have no concerns using that .311 diameter bullet with the 762/308...

    Suppressors Surefire Questions

Hello all, I am getting very close to purchasing a Surefire FA762SS and wanted to ask a couple questions from you fine people. I understand this can be used on sub-calibers, but with what muzzle break, for example for a 556 would I use a 556 or a 762 break to attach the can? Also, I am wondering...

    Suppressors Suppressor Rules on Moving

Re: Suppressor Rules on Moving Sorry for reviving an old thread, but how does moving apply if you are moving to non friendly state? If you are not required to notify than those states would have to grandfather your tax stamp? Could you only move to suppressor friendly states? And lastly...

    .227 in a .224 bore?

Re: .227 in a .224 bore? I guess if it works, I would be concerned with barrel life. I have never heard of this, but I guess if pressures were ok than it would be ok. Does anyone else have any experience with this, Im interested...

Is this AR a good buy?

Re: Is this AR a good buy? I agree, if you want all those things than dont buy it, build or buy something else. I stipped the camo off mine and am happy with the .223, sounds like you want something different than what that rifle is.

    Load development, new rifle

Not too sure where I should post this question, so here goes. I understand if you are breaking a rifle in than the idea would be to break it in and then work on loads. What do you guys do who do not break in? Do you simply start your ladder tests with a fresh rifle?

    Accuracy trouble shooting an AR15

Re: Accuracy trouble shooting an AR15 What reloads are you shooting? Specifically what bullet and grain? IMO that barrel will like something heavier than 55.

    XBR 8208/ Help with targets

Re: XBR 8208/ Help with targets I have loaded up some .2 increments between 21.4 and 22.2 to see how those do. Usually how I test I can pick a good load after the second round. The best group to date is in the pic below, it is fairly repeatable if I do my part (obviously not on the flyer)...

    XBR 8208/ Help with targets

Re: XBR 8208/ Help with targets Robot, I did not do a ladder test for this ammo. I just loaded it up in .5 increments from min to max. Pipes, maybe I am just thinking it is dirtier because the gun was freshly cleaned when I begun...

    XBR 8208/ Help with targets

In the always continual drive for the laser gun, I picked up some 8208 XBR to try in my .223 R15 AR. First I would like to hear if anyone has any experience with this powder and what you all thought about it. I shot it today in increments of .5gn with 69gn SMK. What I noticed was that it was...

    .223 on LNL AP

Re: .223 on LNL AP Gimpy, I noticed that they fit in the 9mm plate too. I am going to have to see if it helps with lining up for me. I will be upset that I bought an extra plate though, lol.

    Where does a guy start?

Re: Where does a guy start? I bought the Lee challenger kit when I first started. I loved it, I still have it. I believe a cheap single stage press kit is the way to go to start loading. I think it starts you on the basics and helps you pay attention to the small, important things. I vote get...

    ar10 input

Re: ar10 input Could be the base die is needed, but I think that FL sizing would make it fit just fine. If you already FL sized, was the die screwed in enough to the press? It wouldnt take much to get that shoulder off from what it should be.
